weather in the garden # 140!
Thanks, VV. Clouding over here, but still nice enough to be outside, except I'm inside at the moment grabbing some lunch.
great for starting thread Some of us (like me ) don't know how. Temp, up to 45° & sunny. light wind.
55° & sunny Will get cooler this week.
The temp was 60 today, warmer in Southbury where I was bringing dinner to my sister & planting her peas....back to winter tomorrow...VV, love the Jelena!
39° this morning & only going to the lower 40s. Sounds like March.
Great weekend to work in the yard.
Yeah, the weekend was great....today is not....cold showers all day, heavy rain tonight!
Woke up to a steady rain, but not a 'hard' one 42° here NE of Boston.
Rain seems to have stopped here....temp should be around 50....article in today's paper said it was too early to plant peas.....well, that ship has sailed!
need the rain - hope it falls all week
about an inch & a half of r ain by mid morning. It is continuing.
42° going to 52. overcast I hope the clouds leave so we have a sunny day.
43° Going above 50 rain overnight
Foggy & 47...not ideal weather for anything but knitting!
43° supposed to go up 10 more degrees. Overcast & possible rain.
Overcast & 48 here.....not a great weather day....looks like snow for Sunday!
just had a passing shower
27° only going to be in the lower 40s.
Same here...still unsure of storm's path for tomorrow.....hope it veers out to sea......
Totally love VVs h. i. displays! I will feel great if my Aphrodite gets anything like that! Pictures are very very welcome. Need to start the warm thoughts going for spring to arrive!
27 this am, now with sun a bit warmer. Does not seem nice for outdoor work, the burlap is still surrounding the tender shrubs and it will clearly have to stay there through the next snowstorm. All the little shoots are likely to get covered again.
It looks like the storm is veering out to sea. thank you for small favors.
Sunny now. Looks very clear. Yay!
a nice day for yard work - all my potted jm's were moved outside a couple weeks ago - hope the porcelain containers survive this coming cold night and the snow.
I was going to start raking the herb & perennial gardens, then thought I should wait....glad I did....will be in the 20s again tonight.....Nice & sunny now...hope it stays that way.....
Just a couple inches of light snow so far in my location. Temps around 30
About the amount of snow here. I heard the plow pass once. Temp 27.7.
About an inch of heavy wet snow on the trees & lawn...didn't stick on road or driveway.....
We got some wet snow and it looked beautiful on the Trees this morning. The bright sun is melting the snow, and my daffodils buds are up and it's 40 degrees.
A bit more snow We could get out if necessary but better to say inside for the day.

Melting is going on. Off the roads, certainly, but very slow off the flower beds.
