We live in Polk County, Oregon and have noticed this Vine Sphinx Moth(at least that's what I think it is...) on the screen to our deck for the last couple of days.
I don't think I've ever seen one of these in these parts. Anybody else in Northwest Oregon have these ? Are they usually in Northwest Oregon ?

I think it is more likely to be a Hyles lineata, the White-lined sphinx, reported range includes your area. Check it out and see what you think?
