Sheep & Llama Manure

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

I picked up 3 bags of each from an FFA kid who sells it to pay for his FFA supplies. Can I apply directly to the garden or does it need to be composted. I've read conflicting information.

Pueblo, CO(Zone 5b)

Well, when it doubt - it never hurts to compost it. Composting helps remove excess salts and sterilize weed seeds.
And manure can be a host for things you don't want on your edible crops - bacteria, parasites, etc.
