How to disable Javascript in Internet Explorer

Most of you are using Version 5 of Microsoft's Internet Explorer.

To defeat these spams everyone's getting lately, do these steps in your browser:

  • From the menu bar, Click "Tools", then "Internet Options".
  • Change to the Security Tab.
  • Click on "Custom Level"
  • Scroll down to the "Scripting" section.
  • Make sure that "Active Scripting" is disabled.
  • Make sure that "Scripting of Java Applets" is also disabled.
  • Click "Ok" and then click "Ok" again.

    That should do it! Please post here if this solves (or doesn't solve) this problem.
