EXPENSIVE POSTAGE?? - Medicare Blues

Our Medicare premium went up by $16.50 ( or thereabouts ) each month!

When I looked at the Medicare site...the explanation was..if you receive SS benefits, the monthly premium is $104.50 ( or thereabouts )
BUT if we bill and you pay directly (meaning do not get SS benefits where the premium is automatically deducted) ....the cost to you is....$121 something.

That is some stamp! More penalties for working and not collecting SS at 66. Our Medicare benefits do not enhance in any way with this increase. Grrrrrrr

Plus, I got backbilled for this month since Jan was paid last October before the increase took effect!
