Maintaining a Perfect Landscape

Foothill Ranch, CA

1. Set the mower to the right height.
2. Keep the edges of the lawn trimmed.
3. Water deeply once a week.
4. Feed the lawn several times a year.
5. Aerate your lawn during the growing season
6. Work with, not against, the available sunlight.
7. Choose plants that will thrive in your climate.

3 is wrong.

Foothill Ranch, CA

No 3 isn't wrong, If you're watering once in a week.
As we know most of the places in the world facing water shortage issue. So, at least we can water once in a week to keep alive our garden landscape.

Prunin, your posts seem to be a thinly-disguised ploy for advertizing your business. That said, some of the advice is either not broadly applicable or is arguable. For example, fertilizing the lawn "several times a year" is excessive in short season areas. The recommendation to water once a week conflicts with your stated concern about water shortages, given that you've also advised to "choose plants that will thrive in your climate".
Please note that advertizing is not allowed in the forums here.
