I just purchased a gluten-free cookbook (no, neither the Spousal Unit or I are gluten-intolerant, just wanted to try something a little healthier). Quite a few of the cookie recipes call for evaporated cane juice............can I substitute regular or brown sugar for that until I can find a source for it? Or maybe it will be too expensive for me to use. I don't know..............
