I started Heavenly Blue morning glories at my house when we moved in four years ago. Each year they reseed and have become a favorite. This year they seem to have succumbed to wilt. What flowers they did produce were tiny, and the foliage quickly developed a white powdery coating and died off. This is the first year I didn't have a chance to put up the trellises, so they mostly crawled around on the ground until they found something vertical. But even the ones that were not on the ground died off.
This year I added a new variety in with the Heavenly Blues, blue and white variegated (Flying Saucers maybe?) and they seemed just fine. In fact I think they are still blooming. And the Grandpa Ott's in a different part of the yard was also fine.
Has anyone else had this experience?
Morning Glory wilt?
Is anyone growing cucumbers nearby and are they healthy? My morning glories got sick from my neighbor's cucumbers which succumbed to wilt.
