Last week as I was shooting the sunrise scene from the balcony, I saw this bird settle in the neighbouring tree branch. Light was insufficient and it was a long way away. Zoomed it, then when I gave 'fill light' [have cropped the image] it gave a hint of some colour to the bird. The tail which is forked may give a clue.. it is certainly not the black drongo.

It's definitely a bird . . . I fear it won't be easy to identify, though!
I did wonder about Brambling (orange breast fits), but the tail is too long for that.

Drongo has a forked tail.
It looks like from some of your other pictures you may have baltimore orioles they have forked tails females are more yellow with the traditional oriole markings males are bright orange they are migrating birds this is the time of year they do, often stopping by untraditional places on their way through -lucky us. Just a thought.
