Hummingbird feeders

Someone recommended Heritage Farms, suction cup, hummingbird feeders. I cannot find the post or that particular item. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know if it's the same one, but it looks like the Heritage Farms window hummer feeder has been discontinued, though you might find it places like Amazon or eBay.

There are several other companies that make window hummer feeders. Some are well known for their feeders, like "Perky Pet" and "Aspects". Aspects makes two sizes, both with ant moats, which is a good idea since ants will definitely climb the window to get to the feeder, but Perky Pet's is much cheaper.

The links below show the discontinued Heritage Farms feeder and some of the other brands available. These were directly from the company websites, but some may be available in local stores or online from places like Duncraft, Wild Birds Unlimited, even Walmart's website has items you won't see in their store and sometimes can be picked up in the store with no shipping.

Be careful with window bird feeders. The birds can hit the window which can severely hurt them even breaking their necks.

While it's true that bird strikes kill millions of birds and feeder placement is important, most experts agree that feeders should be placed either closer than 3-feet (even right on the window) or further than 30-feet. A feeder that's very close doesn't allow a bird to build up speed if it accidently flies towards a window, making less chance it will get hurt.

Hanging things in front of a window that breaks up reflections can also help.
