Hi Tuckersmom-I did not collect any seeds from my 'Fireworks', but there must be about a billion capsules out in the yard. Of course, it is a cultivar that is propagated vegetatively, so the offspring could vary a lot but if you wanted some I could collect some seeds tomorrow.I think they would have time to dry before the Robin arrives.

LOL Pistil. A billion? I just need a few. I would love it if you could retrieve some seeds for me.

I don't know too many people that are looking for Goldenrod – but I am. ROTFL. Variations are cool. 😊

I am willing to bet they will have time to dry if the robin is going to start flying on the East Coast. That's just an uneducated guess though.

I realize I may be a little late in posting my haves and wants, but having never done a robin before, I am a little slow catching on! I don't have a lot because I am just getting started, but this is what I have:

-Seeds from one my father gave me, he called Marsh Grass, but I have no idea why or if it is the correct common name because it grows beautifully in my front yard, full sun, without a marsh in sight. Below is a photo, including a close-up of the seed fronds.

Wow! I just found out that I can harvest seeds from my shrubby potentilla and that they are quite easy to germinate, according to http://www.perennials.com/content/saving-and-starting-perennial-seeds/ Hope it's ok to share a link to a different website! :-) So I will be going out to harvest these seeds today and will have plenty to share in the Robin. If anyone wants some set aside, let me know!

If you are trading with someone who has already had the robin, you're supposed to mail your trade to them. Unless they are on the 2nd round, and dont mind waiting til March or later
