Very hot and humid here, with little rainfall. This odd looking fungi has popped up under a tree in a friend's yard. Can anyone tell me about it? They're very strong, there are pine needles embedded in two of them and you can't even pull them out!

It looks like the Brain fungus or Eastern Cauliflower mushroom.
Looks like a Ruffle mushroom.(Sparassis crispa) I had them come up in Searcy Arkansas.
