Is this rat poop?

So, not exactly a garden pest but wondered if anyone can tell me if this is rat poop?? Found outside (in Florida) by our pool deck.

Could be, what size is it? 1/8" or so is mice, 1/4" to 1/2" is more likely rat.

Do you have things to attract them? Food, fruit trees, hiding places or other things? Keep garbage cans fully sealed, remove pet food promptly; do not free-feed cats or dogs through the night.

Research your local rats to fine tune the list, but by eliminating all possible food sources will greatly reduce the population, and screening off the hiding places.
Do some research to see what rat paths will look like (a greasy patch where they brush against walls and turn corners is common).

I know we have rats in the neighborhood. Been an issue for as long as I have lived here. Fruit trees attract them is my guess. Neighbors rarely pick up fruit off ground. Anyway,,,, I also have tons of lizards and they also make this shape of poop. Just wondered!
