Transplant this fall or next fall?

Dalton, GA(Zone 7a)

I have 7 or 8 daylilies that need to be transplanted. They are in a very dry area that I hate to drag the hose to and I think a little more sun might help them. I know at least some of them are supposed to be rebloomers but never have.

My dilemna is that I have neglected them (and the rest of my yard) for abt 7 years. Several did not bloom at all this year.

Should I keep them where they are and nurse them back to health for a year before transplanting or go ahead and move them to a better environment this fall?

I think in your climate you could move them in the fall and they should be good to go for next year.

firstyard, I agree with Hemlady.
Don't feel bad about them not blooming. They have a mind of their own. I have a LOT that didn't bloom this year either.

Thanks y'all! That's what I'll shoot for then.

Firstyard, do share some pictures of the finish product.
