Frederick, MD

This thread is for posting the plants you'll have available for the Fall Plant Swap on September 19th and for posting plants you would like to have. You don't have to post to participate but please try to in order to keep everything well organized (some of you know how much I love to be organized). :)

This is good digging / potting weather, so I'd better get going so I have some things on my "haves" list!

I know I can bring mint, both Kentucky Colonel spearmint and Chocolate Peppermint... will try to pot up a few but will also just bring bags of pulled starts.

"Peanut Butter Shrub" rooted shoots, small but very fragrant blooms, leaves smell like PB!

Felicia's Phlox -- heirloom variety that I've named for my DMIL and her mother, rowing very well in Mid-Atlantic gardens!

Sedum -- have loads of that groundcover one with little chartreuse leaves and yellow blooms, also have a couple other small-leafed ones and will try to get cuttings of some tall ones as well. Will root anywhere, just drop pieces on the ground. Shallow-rooted, so it's easy to pull but hard to get entirely rid of LOL

Aegpodium, Snow on the Mountain, Bishop's Weed. This makes a dense and spreading groundcover in part shade... I'm regretting letting it loose in a border, since it's trying to crowd out all comers, but it's a pretty plant and would be good between shrubs. It's tough; I'll plan to pull some just before the swap.

Variegated Vinca major. Will pull and bring some rooted pieces on request.

WANTS

love purple, pink... plants for butterflies & hummers... can always find space for groundcovers... need some good iris companions (anything with a "loose" or airy habit that won't smother rhizomes if it gets close)... also have a nice shady garden underway now, so my garden is officially full sun to full shade! :-)

PROMISED
(Aug 31 note: if you don't see your request here, don't fret yet, I need to go back through the threads)

Catmint: PB shrub cute toddler, Blue Moon woodland phlox
Donner: thyme(s), honeysuckle (Lonicera americana)
SSG: Blue Moon woodland phlox

Requested:
Catmint: Blue Mistflower
Donner: Agastache 'Golden Jubilee', Brunnera 'Jack Frost', Campanula glomerata Superba
Muddy1: Passiflora incarnata, Pratia 'Celestial Spice', Creeping St John's Wort, Filipendula rubra, Carex pensylvanica
Gita: pink evening primrose.

Newbie here. Not sure I have correct format, but I would love to have Blue mist flower and any kind of passiflora from Catmint as well as mouse ear hosta and DV azalea from Gita.
As I posted previously, I am bringing a slew of SI bare roots and day lily tubers.
