I need more color

Edmonton, AB(Zone 3a)

Any suggestions as to what plants to add? Apparently I have a thing for purple! I want something orange, or red... or maybe a yellow or lime green something. lol
The hydrangea in the middle is Invincible Spirit and the two on the outside are Annabelles.
Also, would my ground cover plants (burgundy glow ajuga and galium odoratum) eventually kill off my other perennials? I didn't really think through my garden, just planted what I liked.
Oh yeah and I am in zone 3.
Thanks!

Your Hydrangeas look like they'll fill in nicely over the next couple of years. I think you did a fabulous job and like it the way it is.

I agree completely with Mipii. That last photo is really good, showing interesting colors and textures and the symmetry really appeals to me.

(Have you considered adding some spring flowering bulbs which will get you early color?)

do you have room for tall lilies between/behind the shrubs?

Thanks everyone, I am just going to leave it as is out of laziness. I guess next year if I really wanted ir could divide some of my lilies to put in between. Thanks everyone!
