These are pictures of leaves from my apple tree that was healthy last year, but look droopy this year. Is this a disease or a pest? I pruned the tree in the spring, could that have anything to do with it?

Oh and this is in Calgary, Alberta.
Has it been exceptionally windy? Those leaves (picture 3) look like they have been beating against something (the branches, each other...) and are torn and battered.
Some sprays can spot the leaves like the second picture- especially if they are sprayed in hot weather, or when the plant is low on water.
