Hello, I am looking for a plant that would hang down from a terrace, preferably without trying to hold on to something and start climbing back up. It needs to have a curtain-like effect, the longer and the denser the better. The container can be large, it will be 70 inches long, and it can be as wide and tall as it needs to be for the plant to feel well in it.
San Diego, zone 10b.

One of my personal favorites is Dichondra argentea 'Silver Falls'. It's hardy in your zone. Here's more info: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/56847/
I must have hit the Preview button because I don't see my reply.
Thank you for the suggestion, it seems perfect!
How would fuschia perform as a hanging plant? I was in Ireland once and I saw huge walls of fuchsia at roadsides, seemingly hanging from the sides of hills.
I've lived in your zone. It would do well but I don't know how much of a curtain effect it would have.
