Don Featherstone, inventor of the pink plastic lawn flamingo, passed away on Monday, June 23rd.

How interesting, I had no idea of the inventor of the famous Pink Flamingo, I fret I do not have any in my garden to share in his honor.
I bought this flamingo at a yard sale a couple of months before he passed. But I had to have one of some type for my garden here in oviedo. Just lucky it was a flower pot. I let the yard sale seller keep the old ratty silk flowers that were in it.
