Hi all, I have several hardy hibiscus and they get 6-8 ft tall. Can I prune them back before they have buds and if so, will them get more bushey instead of so tall? Thanks ever so much for any advise. Alda

Yes prune away, it will encourage fullness. Avoid branches with buds but if you accidentally cut them others will come along so no biggie. Hibiscus fertilizer or superbloom would help.
yes, hibiscus are heavy feeders because they are putting out flowers all the time. Feed your hibiscus.
