something is eating my petunias.

Something is eating my petunias. Only the flowers. I read some of the posts on this site and I think they may be aphids or maybe little wormy looking things. (I saw one) They leave little black dots on the leaves. I bought Worry Free insecticide but it made me worry. The are not specific enough about how much to use. My plants are in large hanging baskets. and seem to be in only 2 out of 10. So far there are none anywhere else. I am at a lost as to what to do. The stuff really scares me. I could possibly kill the plants if I understand the directions. Any suggestions?

There are caterpillars (little green worms) that will devastate petunias.
Hand removal works, and spraying with Bacillus thuringiensis.
One brand name is Dipel.
This is safe, and specific for caterpillars. Spray it on early before the caterpillars get big enough to eat much of the plant.

What about the worry free. Can I safely use that?

What is the active ingredient?
