I have a serious problem with my bromeliads. I have many varieties and the problem seems to be widespread amongst most of them. As soon as a new pup grows some creature is getting to it, and tearing
at its leaves and almost shredding it to pieces. I very often find the whole fresh inside pulled out and lying next to the mother plant. I do live in a country setting , have many squirrels and racoons around.
Has any one had a similar experience and if so any ideas as to how I can solve this problem.
It is not a disease as I have had the county extension services check for that. This is definitely some creature
action!!!
Thanks
bromeliad
