Broken off buds on Coneflower

Hello,

I put a basket over my coneflower plant at night, because I discovered a deer has eaten off some blooms. I removed the basket this morning, but it fell over the plant, causing more blooms to be broken off. Half of the plant is gone. My question: will the coneflower recover and get more blooms this season? Thank you for your help.
