A friend sent me this lovely bloomer.....can anyone id this us?...We love it in hanging baskets, tall pots, well just about everywhere I have put it, but would like a name! she called it Pink Blooming Sage...
Unknown salvia?
I don't think it's a sage, but either a member of the Acathaceae, a bit more likely a member of the Gesneraeacea. It doesn't appear to have a typical Salvia flower. Other plant families have caylxes and opposite foliage.besides the mints.
