Super-Charged Breakfast Recipes

Here are some recipes, that are high in Omega3.

Refrigerator Jam

3 cups Blueberries or any combination of berries, fresh (preferred) or frozen
1/4 cup Agave Nectar raw preferred
1/4 cup Chia Seed
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Combine berries and agave in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat until berries begin to soften and burst, about 5 minute.
Add Chia seeds and cook until very thick, about 15 minutes. Stir often.
Remove from heat and let cool then add vanilla extract. Pour into sterilized jars and place into the fridge. Store in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. Makes 10 servings.

In the morning, you'll have fresh refrigerator jam. Tastes great as a topping for your morning oatmeal.

Morning Mason Jar/Mug Oatmeal

1/2 cup Rolled/Old Fashioned Oatmeal
1 cup Milk Animal, Nut, Rice or Soy
1 Tb Refrigerator Jam
1 tsp Nut Butter, Almond, Cashew, etc. (It's your choice)

Combine oatmeal and milk, in a mason jar or mug, cover and soak overnight. In the morning remove the cover and heat in the microwave for 45 seconds or on top of the stove, in a water bath, until hot. Stir in jam and nut butter.

Lemon Chia Fresca

1 Tbsp Chia Seed
1/2 cup Water
1/4 cup Lemon Juice or the juice of 1 Lemon
1/2 cup raw Agave Nectar or raw Honey (raw preferred)
32 Fl. Oz. Club Soda
1 Lemon, cut into wedges to garnish

Stir together Chia seeds and water and chill overnight.
Combine lemon juice and sweetener, if using honey, heat just until the honey has dissolved. Let cool completely before using.
Fill four glasses with ice. Divide Chia gel and lemon syrup evenly between each glass and top with club soda. Garnish with lemon wedges. Serves 4.
