I am wondering what would cause this purplish discoloring? The plant is also not leafing out as robustly as it has in the past. Is there a nutritional deficiency of some kind?
thanks
purple discoloring on agastache leaves
Could be. Easy to check: Work a little fertilizer into the soil around the plant, and spray some foliar feed onto the leaves. Fertilizer for foliar feeding is any water soluble fertilizer diluted to 1/4 or weaker.
You could use an organic material like Fish emulsion or a chemical formula like Miracle Gro.
Be sure to spray the undersides of the leaves, this is where the plants have the most stoma where they can take in the fertilizer.
thanks, Diana!
