Native Orange Honeysuckle

Lake Stevens, WA(Zone 8a)

The native Lonicera ciliosa is blooming now-very nice at the edge of a woods, grows about 20-25 ft up into trees, shorter in the shade.
Why have I never thought to plant this in my yard? It would go great with my blue Ceanothus also blooming now.
Has anyone tried this?

Oh gosh, that's pretty! I haven't seen that growing here on the Oregon coast, we have a white and yellow wild honeysuckle that has large showy flowers. Let us know if you try it.
