Setting: I have recently purchased this tree (Monrovia) from a local "improvement specialty retailer." . I brought it home and cut off the nursery stake to take a peek and it drooped over like a wet noodle. OMgoodness! I am not experienced so I've been busy on the internet. I also sent 2 emails to Monrovia (they don't take calls) asking questions. To my disappointment they have not replied. My local nursery carries the tree as well but I'm still insecure.
Question: How do I stake a droopy trunk? or Should I return it?
Thank you!
