Does anyone know if it can be grown here? I had one in Florida- they are a species of hardy hibiscus, and I have one of those that comes back. I have just ordered seeds to try, but would still appreciate any input. I am in the TriCities. Thanks, Jo
Confederate Rose Hibiscus in the PNW?
Jo, I don't know if you remember, but before you left Florida we did a little local trade of pagoda plant. Anywhooo,
I just bought a confederate rose plant, ready to throw a lot of blooms shortly. I am out in levy County bout 5 miles from the county line.
Sand hills here but have been amending for 10 years now. Where would you suggest would be the best place to plant this. Morning sun, pm sun?
I saw one next door to a place I have in Haile and it was quite leggy. Can this be controlled?
Hope you check in here soon. Winter is on it's way
Molly
