I am trying to change out my switches in my home and a set of 3 is throwing me for a loop. In the set of 3, one controls a plug the next in the series controls a light w/ dimmer and the final one controls another plug. I bought the wrong switches and would love to have a general idea of what kind of switch I am looking for. When I tried the first time I only got so far as to remove the first switch and replace it with the new one. Well that didn't work it wouldn't control the plug..
Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!
