geranium 'Miss Heidi'

Jackson, MO(Zone 6b)

Dave's Garden has no one that has grown this.
Does anyone have any experience with this one?
It says on the label to grow in sun.
I thought geraniums liked part shade to shade?
The species is oxonianum which means Oxford. I thought that was kind of interesting. I am wondering if in England which I understand has a more mild climate that my hot, humid zone 6 if I should plant it in part shade or shade instead of sun.
Any comments would be appreciated.

I have Geranium 'Sweet Heidy'. Don't know if this is same/similar/unrelated. Have had it since '07 and it grows in mostly sun. In my garden, this is less sprawly than a lot of others ('Johnson's Blue', 'Rozanne').

Thanks, Cindy. I like their leaves--frilly.
You are a zone cooler and in mostly sun. I wonder if I need to put in dappled shade.

You could try morning sun and afternoon shade or the dappled shade that you mentioned. You all get hot in the summer.

Yes, I think that is what I will do.
Thanks Cindy.
