Anyone diagnose?
My iris have a fungus or ?
http://extension.psu.edu/pests/plant-diseases/all-fact-sheets/iris-diseases here's a little info.
Looks like leaf spot, and the 'fungal" type ,I would say. I spray with a fungicide (Daconil), and , when you remove the leaves, do so carefully, so you don't spread the spores. And don't compost them...either bag them for the trash, or, burn them, if you are allowed to burn in your area.
A "google" of "leaf spot" will get you tons of info, on treatment, and prevention.
thank you crowrita1!
Last year the Lilac that is within 3 ft of this patch of Iris had a terrible fungus. The local nursery sold me liquid copper fungicide, brand BONIDE, to treat the lilac but it was too gone. I cut it down last month. I was fearful that the rest of my garden plants would suffer.
I live in a rainy climate so anticipating it has spread alllll over.
