My beni schichihenge has green growth on it. I will remove it, but is this a problem with my Japanese maple.
Green Leaves on Variegated Maple
Is it growth from below the graft?
remove it likely from below the graft or reverting. i see it on my butterfly from time to time.
The green growth is at the top and the bottom of the plant. I don't think it is grafted. I wiil check on my next trip outside. These were tiny 9" tall maples when I purchased them and I don't remember seeing a graft point on them.
Mine has turned all green too. Not sure if as the season changes it will too.
