I need to kill bermuda grass in my beds

Burleson, TX(Zone 8a)

Someone told me about a product that would kill bermuda grass without damaging shrubs or flowers. I wrote it down and put it up real good so I'd have it come spring/summer when I needed it.

Yep, can't find that little piece of paper. Anyone know what it could be?

I get Grass B Gone most anywhere, used in with Irises, daylilies, spiderwort, etc, always check the label

We just dig it out.

I dig it out then bury sheet metal down about 10 inches under my edging. slows things down dramatically.

Thanks all. Yes, I try to dig it out, too, but it has gotten the best of me where it comes up under my Indian Hawthorn. The grass is so entangled with the Hawthorn roots, that I fear I'll do damage digging it out.

It is in my asparagus, but then the wild flower seed appears to have joined the asparagus so I'm letting everything go wild til the flowers finish blooming and THEN I will figure out how to separate grass and asparagus roots
