How do I thicken Dawn dish soap?

This may sound dumb. I really like just plain dawn dish soap for hand cleaner, even greasy mechanic hands. I recently added a little pumice to it and it works great. My problem is the pumice settles to the bottom and hard to re-shake every time I use it. Is there anything I can add to thicken the soap to help keep the pumice suspended in the soap?
