We have about 20 Brooms in box planters that were planted last Spring. They did very well through the fall but looking at them now they all seem to have dark woody stems, not really any green to speak of. The branches snap kinda easy so the question is are they dead from the cold winter in N.J. Oh yea there on a rooftop garden exposed to wind.. What do you think...

No I believe not. What I got was Dallimorei Hybrid, Cytisus.
