I believe this is a Trevesia of some sort. Anyone have an idea what type? Very large leaves, but not as defined as the Palmata. It is not cold hardy at all, when it freezes, it starts over from the ground. Pictured is one years growth from a freeze late 2013/ early 2014.
Trevesia
Beautiful plant! Very exotic looking!
Got cuttings????? Haha......just a few....not car loads.....
So glad you are home again!!!!!!
Hey Jeanne! I don't know how to do cuttings from this guy. A trunk and leaves, when leaves die, trunk dies. When it froze everything died to ground. May be dig up new trunk if it comes up? Perhaps someone knows?
Having the first toad call of the season in the pond! Loud.

It may come up from the roots........I've had things do that.....
but, then again......I've had things die in the freeze and never
come back again.
Between the freeze several years ago and then the drought the following year, I lost the majority of my garden.
My Mexican fan palms have not suffered in the least. I have four palms that are huge. When we get them cut back, we can
make a great hut again!
Good Luck with your plant!
Same here, although there is stuff popping up I haven't seen for 5 years
All of my stuff must have gone to your house......."Back Home again".....where it would get food and care...........LOL!
Now I know where they went!
