CLOSED: Oxblood Lilies

Bryan, TX(Zone 8b)

I have these growing in a corner of my yard that we're getting ready to till to make a new bed so they need to come up. I'm not sure if this is the right season to be transplanting them but is anyone interested in trading while I have them out of the ground? The bloom in the fall and are very easy to grow! I'm interested in perennials hardy for my area. Let me know what you've got :)

Cassandra78, I am very interested. I have Mex petunia, forsythia cuttings, and rose of Sharon cuttings(single) Or I could pay postage for the blood root. Let me know if interested. Alda

Cassandra, are these related to the surprise lily ? The look close. They send up foliage in the spring and then die back only to send up these blooming stalks in the late summer/fall.

HazelcrestMike, Very pretty! I'm not sure if they are related but their growing habit sounds similar.
