HAVE and WANT lists - Spring 2015 Plant Swap

Vienna, VA(Zone 7a)

Posting lists on this thread is NOT a requirement for Plant Swap participation; however, if you would like to give others advance notification of plants you would like to give away or plants you would like to receive during the May 9th Plant Swap, this is the place to do it!

Please post only ONCE on this thread, and then edit your post as needed.

It's harder to find the HAVE/WANT lists if there are lots of other posts on this thread, so please use this thread for discussions: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1387839/

Please look here for key information about the swap and to let me know whether you plan to come: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1387793/

Jeannie

Welcome to this great group! I admire that you will make the trek from Delaware!
That is a long trip....Safe travels.....

In your post above--you said you wanted Gooseberry. Did Chantelle list it on her haves?
It was me that offered a Gooseberry shrub. I have 2 growing in gallon pots.
Will put you down for one--unless Chantelle was also offering it???

I have had this Gooseberry shrub forever....got it from an old man who had
grown it forever too. I don't know the variety. It did not fruit too well for me--
as I had it growing in a semi-shaded area.
Last summer--I dug it up. Several sections came off of it--and so I potted them up.
Now I have it in a huge pot in the middle of my back yard in really good sun.
Hoping to get more berries--I do see a lot of blooms...
Gotta watch the birds! geesh! In N. Europe (where i am from) these grow everywhere.

Here is my big one...looking good! Gita (aka G.)

edited to correct spelling....
