I got these for free and just KNOW they can be used in a cool way in my garden.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to paint them Carolina blue and cut off the rough top portions. The usual way to use them would be to stick them in the dirt and fill the top with flowers. Any other ideas?
I could paint a palm tree on the back of the big one. Hhhhmm......

Entlie,
The horizontal planter would work for the smaller one and the vertical would work for the bigger one. Hhmm.....

SO!!!!
This is what I did with them. Turned out nicely, if I do say so myself!
The tall one has Aloe 'Delta Lights' and common thyme.
The smaller one has Yakespala Hardy Bromeliad
Since these pictures were taken, I planted a pink moss rose in the space a the base of the smaller one and filed in the area with pea pebbles.
Yea me!!!!
