The weather here in Georgia has been crazy. My plants are confused. I have things blooming that should not be blooming yet. Blooming flowers are Fringe flower, daffodils ( In full bloom), Camellia and a clematis that is full of leaves. It went down in the low 20s last night.
I forgot the helleborus.
Yep one of my camellias is also in bloom. Sad cause I bet all the flowers freeze by end of week.
I guess I'm lucky here in Decatur. I have noticed unexpected foliar growth but the only thing blooming are a few Crocuses. Gonna get cold tomorrow!
I just discovered that my Mahonia are loaded with flower buds.
Typical GA weather. Mahonia blooms about this time of year and some Camellias just get in a hurry (GRRR!) Okame cherry should be blooming late this month. Maples are already putting out buds but that is fairly normal. Sometimes early bloomers win, sometimes they lose...
