December Frugal Tip of the Day :)

Fowlerville, MI(Zone 5b)

I can't see in the dark so my house has several night lights throughout it. The problem is the crazy price it costs to buy replacement bulbs! So this time of the year, starting at Thanksgiving, you can get strings of clear, C7 Christmas lights, 25 or more on a string, for about the same cost as a small package of replacement bulbs. So while they're available, buy a string or two of clear C7 Christmas lights, unscrew all of the bulbs from their sockets, and throw the string-part away. You'll have enough replacement bulbs to possibly last you the rest of your life, and for a fraction of what you pay for replacement bulbs!! :)
....Save money! Be happy! ;-)
