Micro Phone Lens-I just ordered some of these (one for myself). I heard about it on the radio this summer, then forgot about it till now.
Thomas Larson funded his idea through kickstarter, the online "crowd-sourcing" funding method. A few years ago, as a college student in Engineering at U. Washington here in Seattle, he invented a tiny little 15X lens that has a tacky backing, so you can stick it on your cell phone over the camera lens. It can be taken off an on whenever you like, then just take a photo through it. He now sells them online for just 15$. He is working on a 150X version.
