I visited an aviary last weekend. I found one European Starling that seems to be under some medical treatment. If I understand correctly, its illness is simply old.
I think European Starlings are super common in North America, and there should be millions of old starlings out there. This starling is definitely a lucky one.
Any comments?

Looks like they are taking good care of it - nice to see!
Except that Starlings are very sociable birds - it'll be feeling very isolated and vulnerable without other Starlings nearby

If it was raised by people it might be happy with human company, but yes starlings are very social.
