Years ago I avoided these appliances as they scared me. Just got my first one. Amazon (of course) IP-DU060. Amazing. Within hours I am enjoying the best ever. A simple dish to start: Chuck roast, onions, potatoes. Fast and delicious. Of course fast = less energy used. Recipe book included and then there is always Google. Will probably buy a Pork Shoulder Butt next. Rice, etc. Maybe I am behind the times and you all are already using pressure cookers. Do share your thoughts and ideas. Gene
