Can anyone give me a positive I.D. for this red-stemmed, reddish-leaf philodendron? Thanks so much.
I.D. for this Red-Stemmed Philodendron
It looks like my Philodendron erubescens 'Red Emerald', but the growth on yours looks a bit weak. You might have it in too much shade.
It's indoors, which might explain its legginess. Thanks.
Anyone else? It might be a different cultivar. The leaves are quite red on the undersides and on top as well.
There's always a lot of variation with these. I have lots of plants which are originally cuttings starting off from the one plant done over many years. But there's still lots of differences amongst them. Especially between new and older mature leaves, exposure to light/sun, even differences with the changing of the seasons. And all basically clones of the same plant.
