Green Pepper Basil

San Marcos, TX(Zone 8b)

Colonial Creek Farms advertises a basil called Green Pepper basil from South America, but offers it only as plants. It supposedly has the flavor of fresh green pepper. It's a separate species from ordinary basil and appears to be a perennial that's hardy to zone 9. I found a source for the seeds, but before I order any I would like to hear some feedback from someone who has some experience with it. It is listed as Ocimum selloi.

Seen it but didn't want my basil to be green peppers. There are seeds? Maybe you would get them to grow for you, but have to save seeds every year.
