Here's a Bull Thistle , with Goldfinch Several enjoying the Thistle seed ,, The more weeds I have the more the Birds Bees Butterflies, I have visit Female Finch is further down in some mellitious Clover , another male hidden across the other side ,,,
Makes a weed garden though ! lol ?

There is no doubt that there are generalist fauna that will subsist on whatever might be around - even nice fat Robins pulling worms from a tightly mown cool season grass lawn.

What you won't know or appreciate is how many more Birds, Bees, and Butterflies would manage to continue their species' existence if you had more of the native flora in your landscape that they evolved with.

It is pyrite to postulate otherwise...

Exceptional!

You and I know that this species grows with abandon without any help from you and I. I am constantly amazed that others have difficulty growing it. For the money thrown around trying to transplant or buying whole plants, I could have retired in style and debt-free selling all the seed produced here at the Valley - just like yours.
