I can't remember which it is?
Orbea vega?
I like that!
Doesn't it say on the back of the Miles' To Go tag that is in it?
No it wore off.
It sure has pretty flowers and I see the flies love it! Does it have a strong odor?
I looked it up on Miles' To Go and it is: Orbea lutea ssp. vaga. This is what Miles says about the smell:
"clusters of 2" rusty red flowers that smell like something dead on the seashore." Yikes!

I have orbea schweinfurthii which seems related but does not compare in flowers
Oh yea. It bloomed out on the patio and when I went out the whole yard smelled like rancid road kill. I was surprised that such a small plant put out such large flowers but there were only 3 and it doesn't look like there will be anymore.
