Has anybody seen this hosta in the Plant Delights catalog that just came out. I can't decide if I like it or it looks like it has Hosta X virus. What do you think?

i don't know. They say it's a mutation of 'Sum and Substance'. It's difficult to tell from their photo, isn't it?
Plant Delights does say that it is a 'love it or hate it' variety. Doesn't appear to get as large as S & S. And it appears to have picked up the S & S slow growing habit. You would probably have to wait quite a while for it to achieve maturity to decide if you like it or not. I am going to NC at Thanksgiving and wonder if maybe I can see one on the hoof at their place in Raleigh. I will let you know if I do.

I saw a group of Totally Awe Sum recently when I was at Hallson Gardens. Most of them had reverted to look like Sum and substance.
I wondered about that. Thanks for the info.
